Who we are looking for:
MOJO is seeking a Front-end Web Developer to deliver exciting interactive digital experiences for our clients. In this role, you will work closely with the design and user experience teams to create beautiful and modern web applications. You are someone who does not have a one-size-fits-all approach to problem solving, and can tailor fit a technical solution to the current project’s needs and goals. You must have a strong design aesthetic and know in your gut when an interaction feels “just right.”
Your responsibilities:
- Review designs and mockups created by web designers and provide relevant technical feedback
- Create prototypes, mockups, and staging sites
- Optimize websites and applications to ensure fast loading speeds
- Maintain websites and implement any necessary features and enhancements
- Design and optimize animations/transitions for better user experience and understanding of complex systems and concepts
- Collaborate with members of the website team (including designers and back-end developers) to consistently improve functionality and user-friendliness of the web applications
- Capable of developing responsive sites for any device
- Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology
- Integrate front-end code with external APIs and 3rd party libraries and tools
- Proactively manage your time and schedule and meet or exceed expectations and deadlines
- Thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, creative workplace
Your skills and experience:
- 3+ years in a front-end development role
- Portfolio or samples of past work and projects
- Understanding of the entire web development process, with an emphasis on front-end design and development
- Expertise in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress and PHP a plus
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as: Vue, React, Angular
- Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce
- Familiarity with and ability to apply front-end knowledge to modern web tools such as analytics integrations, ESPs, CRMs, site-builder tools, and more
- Ability to interpret and implement web designs that match designs provided
Salary Range:
$60,000 – $80,000
